It has begun

The opening weekend of Listening to the Land Pilgrimage for Nature has been mind blowing. Our 'sudden village' has sprung to life and we are thriving. Our hosts at 3 Oaks Orchard set the bar oh so high and we planted a tree here that will grow roots as we walk.

3 Oaks Orchard are a small family-run business just outside of Henley on the Greys Road. They grow greengages, many varieties of apples as well as pears and quinces. Whilst not organically certified (it's expensive), the farm is run on organic principles and is a haven for birds and insects. Whatever they are currently picking can be found in the shed. They are always looking for volunteers and there’s space to park up and camp for anyone who might be interested in doing some work for them on the land.

Belinus and Elen are watching over us and brought the sun. The magic is flowing. Hurrah.
